"I have been playing table tennis for over 20 years, and have been involved in the England team as both a player and coach. During my experience, I can say that Gordon is easily one of the best coaches I have ever come across. He coached me for a number of years during my table tennis career, coaching me to some of my biggest competition wins. He is not only a brilliant technical and tactical coach, but also cares about the players wellbeing and their aspirations off the table. He encouraged me to follow my educational aspirations in combination with my table tennis, and I have been fortunate enough to now go on to obtain a PhD. I would encourage players of all ages and levels to approach Gordon if they are looking to improve their game, as he will always put 100% into each player."

Other sports

Gordon is also a qualified coach in

Football (Level 2)

Squash (Level 2)

Tennis (Level 1)

Athletics (Level 1)

Badminton (Level 1)

...and has coached individuals and clubs in each of these sports

"I met Gordon in September 2014 whilst recovering from extensive foot surgery. I wanted to improve my table-tennis as I compete internationally at racketlon (table-tennis, badminton, squash and tennis).

I could see immediately that he was committed and passionate towards his work, and he was easy to connect with. His coaching has been inspirational, and he has an excellent coaching methodology. Gordon always leaves you feeling at the end of a session that you have progressed, as well as having enjoyed the learning experience.

In addition, working with Gordon has inspired me even more to achieve my own personal goals, and recently I was part of the Great Britain Over 45 Seniors Tennis Team which won the World Seniors Championships. Gordon is forever encouraging me to succeed, and is genuinely interested in everything that I compete in.

Finally, Gordon is friendly, reliable and he will always find a way for his pupils to achieve, whether they are a beginner or international player....... I am proof of this!"
