Coach sessions - Netball

"Gordon delivered a multi-skills session for our talented Notts netball coaches and from start to finish the audience were hooked!

The session was full of energy and ideas, and inspired confidence within our coaches. The content covered a wide spectrum of skills including balance, co-ordination and agility, all key areas in netball.

We would definitely recommend Gordon to any sports group or school."

"Gordon Fearn has provided a critical appraisal of the Nova coaching staff.

The coaches have received written and verbal feedback on coaching.

I am pleased with the service provided by Gordon. The coaching staff are more aware of the coaching process and have areas to improve delivery. I feel this is an important service which will maintain and improve coaching practice by our staff."

Bill Furniss

Nottinghamshire Nova Squad (2012) and coach to Olympic Medallist, Rebecca Adlington

Congratulations to Bill, Head Coach of British Swimming. He led the coaching staff and athletes to Great Britain's most successful Olympic Games for more than 100 years at the Rio 2016 Games.

Gordon is a gifted coach and coach educator; in my experience his knowledge, enthusiasm and most importantly his expertise underpin his status as one of the very top coaches in the country. If being a coach and coach educator is about helping to develop every individual based on their own specific needs then Gordon is more than equipped to do that – it’s very easy to say that’s what developing people is all about, it’s far harder to actually do, Gordon can.

Anyone that has the privilege to work alongside Gordon will see someone who is totally committed to his own development and improvement, someone that strives every day to get better. These qualities are exactly what Gordon demands of those people that he works, qualities which I believe every learner be they coach or athlete should seek out and utilise.”

Will Kitchen, England and Wales Cricket Board, Coach Development Manager.

"Thanks Gordon, for running the superb coaching course this weekend.

I really enjoyed it and it all seems to be fitting into place with the FOM, FOMS & FSS.

On Monday I brought some balance work/info into my mini squash session in a local skill. Nice!

Thanks again."
